Today, Xiaomi hosted a press conference in China where it announced the new Redmi Note series, a new tablet, TWS headphones, and other products. The normal, pro, and pro+ models of the Redmi Note 13 are available. All three products are the Redmi Note 12 series’ successors from the previous year. The top-of-the-line device in the lineup, the Note 13 Pro+, offers major improvements over its predecessor. Features and characteristics for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is the first device in the sub-brand’s Note lineup to come equipped with a curved AMOLED screen measuring 6.67 inches with a punch-hole cutout in the centre and 1.5K resolution. It boasts a peak brightness of 1,800 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Dolby Vision and HDR10 are also supported by the gadget. Once more, the smartphone is the first member of the Note family to have a fingerprint scanner.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+’s design does away with the camera island in favour of conventionally arranged sensors. The rear panel, on the other hand, features a dual-tone design with a faux leather feel. It also has IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 1/1.4-inch sensor on the photography front. An 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP third camera are present. The system is OIS and EIS compatible. It can shoot with up to three different focal lengths and includes a 4x optical lossless zoom in addition to an in-sensor zoom. The smartphone boasts a 16MP selfie camera up front.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+’s MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra CPU is located within. The phone has 512GB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM. A 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W rapid charging powers the smartphone. It comes pre-installed with MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13. The device has a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR Blaster, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and other connectivity options.
Price of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+
The 12GB + 256GB Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is available for CNY 1,999 ($273). Priced at CNY 2,199 ($300) for the 12GB + 512GB configuration and CNY 2,299 ($314) for the 16GB + 512GB option, respectively. Starting on September 26, the smartphone will be on sale.
