The Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 was unveiled by Xiaomi in China last month. It has been offered from launch in 6 GB, 8 GB, and 12 GB RAM configurations. For those in the domestic market who want to purchase the Pad 5 Pro 12.4, the business has now announced a new 8 GB RAM option.
In China, the Pad 5 Pro is offered in three different configurations: 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Priced at 2,799 Yuan ($403), 3,299 Yuan ($476), and 3,999 Yuan ($576), respectively, these versions are available. There are three colour options for the tablet: black, silver, and green.
Xiaomi is yet to confirm the price and availability of the new variant that features 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It is likely that the new model could be priced at 2,999 Yuan (~$433) in the home market.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 specifications
The 12.4-inch IPS LCD screen on the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 has a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a brightness of 500 nits. It includes Gorilla Glass 3 protection for the screen and Dolby Vision capabilities.
The Snapdragon 870 chipset is found inside the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4, which is 10.1 inches. It comes with up to 256 GB of native storage and up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The device lacks a microSD card slot. It has a special MIUI Pad 13 skin on top of the Android 12 OS.
On the front, it has a 20-megapixel camera, and its back panel has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. It houses a 10,000mAh battery that carries support for 67W fast charging. The device is fitted with quad speakers and carries support for stylus.
