Samsung has refuted rumors that it is stopping production of Exynos chips. There have been many rumors that the business will stop using Exynos SoCs in its flagship products by the year 2023.
Additionally, it has been speculated that Samsung will discontinue chip production after this. Samsung reportedly claims that the allegation is untrue in a recent report that was observed in South Korea.
Samsung made the announcement during a conference call to discuss its performance for the second quarter of 2022. Samsung claims it will continue to manufacture Exynos chips and is aiming to increase the brand’s competitiveness.
To increase the market share of its key clients, Samsung said it plans to work with other IP companies and start early development.
Additionally, it has been said that Samsung is creating a high-end chipset especially for the Galaxy S line. The new high-end semiconductor is reportedly being developed by Samsung’s 1,000+ Dream Team.
However, there are rumours that Samsung has postponed the introduction of a new Exynos CPU in order to focus on delivering on the current premium Galaxy S chip.
The latest Galaxy S series chip is scheduled for availability in 2025. The Galaxy S23 models of the near future will only use Snapdragon SoCs. Samsung affirms that it intends to keep up its investment pace by examining the medium- and long-term market prospects and worldwide demand.
