Unboxing And Hands-On With The REDMI K60 Ultra: THAT Flagship Killer Is Back

One thing struck me when I read that the Redmi K60 Ultra was only going for roughly $350: THAT FLAGSHIP KILLER IS BACK! Although it’s not the best phone available, it’s hard to top it for the money. So I went ahead and got this K60 Ultra. Let’s open the package and chat about my initial thoughts on it.

    Unboxing
The K60 Ultra comes in the same unaltered packaging, which is a black box with large text.

We weren’t surprised by the accessory box either. Manual, warranty card, and card pin. Still a clear soft case for the phone.

A very thin plastic bag was used to protect the phone. For a moment, set it aside so you may examine the accessories underneath.

a charger and a cable. The K60 Pro’s output of 120W is reflected in the charger’s output. There are no more accessories.

    Hands-on
The white version was what we bought. A white back panel and a silver frame are a timeless colour combination that will never go out of style. I don’t mind if the frame is plastic as long as the pricing is reasonable enough.

    REDMI K60 Ultra

The K60 Ultra’s design is more like to a member of the Xiaomi 13 series than it is to the K60 family. The camera module has improved in appearance as a result of becoming wider. In terms of design, I wouldn’t be too harsh on a performance-oriented phone because that is after all not its strong suit.

It becomes obvious why it is dubbed the Ultra when the screen turns on. It looks nicer because it has fewer bumps around the screen than the Pro and Standard.

Although the resolution isn’t quite at the 2K level, it is significantly brighter than the rest of the K60 series and has a somewhat faster refresh rate. This screen is exceptional given that it costs $140 less than the K60 Pro.

    REDMI K60 Ultra

The primary camera utilises an IMX 800 sensor, just like the K60 Pro. The Redmi’s camera isn’t going to be very excellent, but at least it has a respectable sensor, which should be more than adequate to document your life.

Since it belongs to the K-series, performance is undoubtedly a strength. The Dimensity 9200+, MediaTek’s flagship chip, isn’t at all weak, but I’m not sure if it can defeat the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It might be able to outperform the 8 Gen 2 in terms of gaming, based on BenchMark scores and the help of the frame-insertion chip.

We haven’t conducted any additional gaming tests yet because we have only recently acquired this phone. So keep tuned for our in-depth review of the K60 Ultra, where I’ll provide the resolution.

While the K60 Ultra won our approval with its incredibly low pricing, OnePlus will have also unveiled their new phone by the time you watch this video. I’m not sure if the K60 Ultra is a better purchase. The K60 Ultra is the best flagship rival, at least through August 16. Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel since we will, of course, be performing a REVIEW of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
