For the fiscal year 2024 (which ends on September 30, 2024), the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently announced a second round of random lottery selection for H-1B visas. The crackdown on “fraudulent practises” may be one of the causes for a second lottery round. By the way, this isn’t the first time a second lottery for H-1B visas has been held. The second lottery took place in July 2021, while the third one happened in November 2021. The incorrect methods used to obtain a visa continue to be the basis for these numerous lotteries. On its website, the US Department of Labour (DoL) maintains a list of debarred/disqualified employers. Following is a list of these businesses’ names, taken from a list that was last updated on July 31, 2023.
