Since its initial release, this well-liked SUV—which is renowned for its sleek styling, capacious cabin, and remarkable performance—has consistently been a best-seller in the Indian market, and the new 2023 Seltos is no exception. Customers have been anxious to get their hands on this new and upgraded edition ever since it launched on July 21, 2023. Moving up the ladder, all additional versions, with the exception of the GTX Plus and X Line trims, have a waiting period of eight to nine weeks. The HTX petrol CVT variation and the HTX diesel variant are among these trims. Customers interested in the top-of-the-line GTX Plus and X Line versions, whether in petrol or diesel form, may have to wait 14 to 15 weeks, since the waiting period for these highly sought-after variations is 14 to 15 weeks.
When it comes to the new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift, the model now has a revamped external appearance that catches the eye from every angle. The SUV has repositioned LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), modified headlamps, a wider front grille, and new lower bumper skid plates up front, giving it a bold and forceful posture on the road. On the outside, KIA has updated the alloy wheel design, with base models now boasting gorgeous 17-inch wheels, while the GT Line and X-Line variations up the ante with special 18-inch alloy wheels and stylistic upgrades.
Inside, the 2023 Seltos boasts a wealth of technical breakthroughs and sumptuous amenities. The advent of the panoramic dual display system, which includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, is one of the highlights. The centre console has been redesigned, with tactile controls for both the infotainment system and the air conditioning, making it easier to use while driving. Regarding the drivetrain, the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift provides a variety of strong and effective powerplant alternatives. The base model has a smooth 6-speed manual gearbox and a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with 115 PS and 144 Nm of torque. A 1.5-liter T-GDI Turbo engine with a 6-speed iMT or 7-speed DCT gearbox and 158 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque is available for individuals who want more power. A 1.5-liter diesel engine with a 6-speed iMT gearbox that produces 250 Nm of torque and 116 PS is also available in some models.
