The Red Magic 8S Pro, released by ZTE a few weeks ago, was the first device outside of the exclusive agreement between Samsung and Qualcomm to employ a boosted version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
It is simply referred to as the “leading version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2” by the manufacturer; nevertheless, we prefer 8+ Gen 2. Instead of operating at the typical 3.2GHz, the Cortex-X3 primary core operates at 3.36GHz, and the Adreno 740 GPU has been tuned up to 719MHz from 680MHz. Red Magic’s testing shows that this leads in 5.7% more GPU performance and a 5% increase in CPU performance.

RMS 8S Professional
The 8S Pro will be offered in three different configurations: Midnight, Platinum (both with nano-scale 3D etching), and Aurora (with a translucent back). On the cooling fans of all three, there is RGB lighting.
The maximum RAM and storage for the three versions—12/256GB for Midnight, 16/512GB for Platinum, and 16/512GB for Aurora—are likewise determined by their aesthetics. For those who prefer the Aurora’s appearance to that of the Midnight, there is a 12/256GB model.
The 8S Pro+ model is not yet available, thus there is no choice for 24GB RAM (although you could add 8GB of virtual RAM for a total of 16+8=24GB).Another significant point is that the Red Magic 8S Pro’s charging speed has been reduced from 80W on the Chinese model to 65W on the global version. a battery6,000mAh is still the maximum capacity. In contrast to the Chinese model’s 35 minute charge time, this means that a full charge takes 40 minutes.
