Upcoming Phone Launches In India For September

September is here, and this month will bring about some interesting debuts.

Although it has been relatively quiet over the past several months, a number of smartphone manufacturers have already revealed the dates for the release of their much anticipated models.

Apple, Poco, Redmi, Moto, and Vivo are all releasing numerous new smartphones. Especially now that India’s holiday season is just around the corner.

The iPhone 14 series, which is likely to revamp the iPhones’ design, is the big unveiling that everyone is anticipating. Then there are the inexpensive smartphones from Redmi and Poco. In addition, Motorola will be releasing the Moto Edge 30 Ultra in September.

The top smartphones scheduled to debut in September are listed below, in date order.

     September
    • Status: Launched
    • Launch date: September 5
    • Expected price: Rs. 12,499

On September 5, Poco released the Poco M5 at a starting price of Rs. 12,499 in India.

It has a Mediatek Helio G99 SoC and is a low-cost smartphone that is focused on gaming. Additionally, it is a 4G phone because the Helio series chipsets support 4G networks. On social media, the company has publicly teased the smartphone and the Mediatek Helio G99 SoC.

The Poco M5 has received further information about it. As you can see from the tweets below, the brand has revealed the phone’s design.

A novel feature in the market for this sector is the faux-leather back that comes with the phone. With smartphones starting to resemble one another more and more, we can see Poco attempting to set itself apart with its large Poco-branded camera array, vibrant yellow colour, and now this leather-like back plate.

It is the Indian version of the Poco M4 and has a 90Hz FHD+ display, a 50MP camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The newest chipset from Mediatek in the Helio G family of SoCs is the Helio G99. With a faster clock speed of 2.2GHz compared to the Helio G96 SoC’s 2.05GHz, it outperforms the older SoC.

The company has additionally disclosed that the phone would go on sale on September 5. Although Poco Global has hinted about the Poco M5s, there is no information on its launch in India.

The phone will have a 6.5-inch HD+ display and a 5,000mAh battery to power it. Along with the phone from the teasers, we can also make out a stereo speaker setup.

Based on that, the 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz would be included with the Redmi 11 Prime 5G. Additionally, it will be driven by the Mediatek Dimensity 700 SoC, and the phone will come with two 50MP cameras. It would have a standard 5,000mAh battery. • Expected price: Rs. 12,000

The Redmi 11 Prime, a 4G version of the Redmi 11 Prime 5G, is also being released by Xiaomi. We believe it to be a rebranded Poco M5 after examining the camera arrangement. Look closely at the placement of the cameras on the two phones; while the Poco M5’s camera island is different, the placement of the cameras and flash is comparable. When a phone is launched under both Redmi and Poco brands, it typically occurs.

If so, the Mediatek Helio G99 SoC should be included in this phone. We’ll have to wait till the launch phone for more information.

    • iPhone 14 Pro
    • iPhone 14 Pro Max

The 14-inch iPhone has replaced the Mini as the least expensive model in the lineup. The iPhone 14 Max expands on the notion that Pro Max variants are simply larger versions of the standard iPhone lineup. The larger iPhone 14 will simply be known as the iPhone 14 Max. There will thus be two phones measuring 6.1 inches and two measuring 6.7 inches.

The bathtub notch, a feature of iPhones since iPhone X, will be eliminated from the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Instead of a notch, these two phones will sport a punch-hole and pill design. The standard notch may be coming to the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max. The design is virtually unchanged other from this.
