This is good, in my opinion, because you can avoid the hassle of connected charging and just use two AAA-sized batteries instead of charging it.
According to Logitech India, depending on your keyboard usage and usage habits, the POP Keys can last up to 3 years or 36 months. The keys can withstand up to 50 million strokes, which is a lot, so there is still plenty of time to change the batteries. The battery can be readily accessed from the back and incorporates auto-sleep power-saving technology, extending battery life.
