Launch Of The Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition

The manufacturer has now released the Jet Edition version of the Nexon EV in the market after releasing the Jet Edition versions of the Harrier, Nexon, and Safari. The starting price for the recently released Nexon EV Jet version is Rs 17.50 lakh, ex-showroom. The Harrier, Nexon, and Safari only come in the ICE form. The Nexon EV also receives cosmetic updates that set it apart from the standard Nexon EV. The Nexon EV Jet edition is based on the Nexon EV XZ+ Lux variation, same as the ICE version. The Nexon EV Prime and Max versions of the SUV come in the Jet Edition. The vehicle’s distinctive Starlight exterior paint scheme is exclusive to the Nexon EV Jet version.

The Earthy Bronze and Platinum Silver dual-tone hue is also available on the Nexon EV, just like it is on the other Jet Edition models. Additionally, it has blacked-out alloy wheels, which are not available on the standard Nexon EV. The ORVMs also have the black treatment. The alloy wheels are 16-inch models with the same style as before. The Nexon EV has lost its electric blue accents for the first time. The bottom window line and the area around the garnish include silver and black accents on the Jet edition. Even the tri-arrow design components on the Nexon EV have been changed from their previous electric blue finish to a silver one. # On the fenders of the vehicle, one may observe a Jet logo or insignia.

The Nexon EV’s interior features an oyster white and granite black colour scheme. The front seats are ventilated as well as covered with oyster white leatherette upholstery. The dashboard still has the same appearance as previously, but it has a techno-steel bronze finish. The Nexon EV Jet edition model also has piano black inserts in the centre console and a touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with all of the functions that were previously available with it. The jewelled control knob, electric parking brake, physical button to manage the regen, and other features are still available with the Nexon EV Max. The headrests of the seats have #Jet embroidery, and while it is based on the higher variation, it still has an electric sunroof too.

In terms of technological details, a 30.2 kWh battery pack powers the Nexon EV Prime. It is coupled with an electric motor that produces a peak torque of 245 Nm and 129 Ps. The Prime now has cruise control and regen, however only the MID can access these capabilities. The buttons are actual objects. The Nexon EV prime supports both AC and DC fast charging and boasts a stated range of 312 kilometres on a single charge. The Nexon EV Max, on the other hand, is propelled by a significantly larger 40.5 kWh battery pack, and the vehicle produces a maximum torque of 143 PS and 250 Nm.

Ex-showroom, the Jet Edition Nexon EV Prime XZ+ Lux costs Rs 17.50 lakh. Nexon EV Max with wall-mounted Fast charging costs Rs 20.04 lakh, ex-showroom, while Nexon EV Max with XZ+ Lux version costs Rs 19.54 lakh, ex-showroom.
