A teaser trailer for Tata Motors’ next SUV vehicle has been made public. Jet. Set. Slay. – Suit Up To Soar High. – Arriving Soon, the video declares. Just before the holiday season, on August 27, the new Tata SUV will be on sale. Although the carmaker hasn’t yet provided the name and specifics of the new model, we anticipate it to be either a limited-edition Tata SUV or the Safari SUV’s gasoline variant.
For the past few months, the carmaker has been testing the Tata Safari gasoline. According to speculations, the vehicle may come equipped with the company’s new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine. The new gasoline engine will essentially be a more potent version of the Nexon’s 1.2L turbo-petrol engine.
A power output of roughly 160 horsepower and a torque of about 250 Nm are promised for the Safari petrol. It is available with a 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter, or DCT automatic transmission. The Tata Harrier SUV model lineup will be available with the same engine-gearbox combination.
The next new Tata SUV, which is expected to arrive in dealerships soon, might be a limited edition. The carmaker previously disclosed its ‘New Forever’ strategy, which calls for the introduction of new vehicles as well as limited-edition versions of current models. It has already debuted their popular SUVs in Dark Edition, Gold Edition, and Kaziranga Edition. The “New Forever” line from Tata includes products with their Impact 2.0 Design language, such as the Safari, Harrier, Punch, and Nexon.
Additionally, Tata Motors has been putting the finishing touches on the Harrier facelift, which is scheduled to go on sale in 2023. The Tata Nexon subcompact SUV and Altroz hatchback test mules were recently seen on camera using emission testing equipment. By the end of the year, both models will probably be introduced.
