According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, no significant improvements would be made to the standard model of the next iPhone 14 series. For instance, according to different rumours, the 6.1-inch normal iPhone 14 and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max won’t differ significantly from the existing models. But the Pro variants, the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max, won’t just have a strikingly different design; they’ll also gain some notable improvements, like a 48MP camera and a cutting-edge CPU. Does this imply that they will perform significantly better? Evidently not.

Although not well recognised as a leaker, it occasionally divulges information. The information they offer is, as they put it, “correct occasionally.” They do, however, know a little bit about the impending iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
NEW DESIGN … LIKE A BRICK
First off, we already know that the iPhone 14 Pro variants will have a pill and hole configuration. However, it turns out that the functionality it offers will be identical to that of the notch. Thus, rather than being a performance improvement, it’s more of a marketing gimmick. Another benefit is that, in contrast to the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, the display quality won’t alter. This is a solid claim, as we already learned that Samsung’s newest M12 generation OLED technology would be used in the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
We were more disappointed to learn that these two phones would change in appearance and resemble bricks. Their size will increase. There is every reason to believe they will be heavier as a result.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max will have a 4,323mAh battery, as we previously discovered. Compared to the 4,352mAh battery in its predecessor, this is a little bit smaller. In contrast, the iPhone 14 Pro will have a slightly larger 3,200mAh battery than the 3,095mAh battery in the iPhone 13 Pro.
Another rumour said that the iPhone 14 Pro Max may have a longer battery life of 2 hours and 10 minutes. According to the leaker mentioned above, “the battery life is going up by a couple hours.”

Let’s now discuss the greatest alteration, which is the camera. We are aware that Apple has not recently updated the camera on its premium iPhone models. This year, it will be updated from a 12MP sensor to a 48MP sensor. It will reportedly be 57% bigger than the current unit, according to multiple reports. The pixels on this CMOS, however, will be smaller. Simply put, the new iPhone will be able to take pictures that are more detailed, but the performance in low light will suffer greatly.
The iPhone 14 Pro camera was said to “elevate mobile phone camera photography to a new level,” according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, which raises some questions about this. So, while it might not be perfect, we anticipate that the iPhone 14 Pro camera will still be capable of delivering exceptional performance in general.
