Price at Launch For The Honda Formidable 300cc Motorcycle: Rs. 2.26 L

Today, Honda debuted the street-legal CB300F. Prices for the two available models begin at Rs. 2.26 lakh, ex-sh

For a month, Honda had been building up a lot of anticipation by teasing us repeatedly about their new “Formidable” product. The CB300F is a naked street motorbike, not the Forza 350 maxi scooter that we all assumed it would be. The name “Formidable” was therefore first used by the F.

The Honda CB300F is marketed as a “Advanced Street Fighter.” Bear in mind the CB650F? A motorbike with a fairing that was introduced in India before the CB650R? Its sleek fairing was modelled by that of its street equivalent. However, this CB300F is not the faired CB300R that is presently available in India.

Honda’s CB series, which began with the CB92, has consistently been one of the most lucrative for the Japanese manufacturer. The fuel tank of the CB300F is muscular and toned, giving the motorcycle a streetfighter aura from throughout the world. The rider’s triangle has a committed, athletic feel to it. But it also produces a great deal of violence. A split seat and a small exhaust system are also included.

Additionally, fashionable V-shaped alloy wheels look fantastic. The front gold USD forks, however, are undoubtedly where most eyes are focused. Copper-colored engine head and clutch cover with a proud Honda logo combine well with the gold on the USD forks. Within the mid-size street sports category, the CB300F has a strong road presence.

    Specs & Features

The pulsing heart of this Honda CB300F is what really matters. It has a 293cc displacement and a 4V head with a contemporary DOHC system. Peak power for this engine is 18 KW (around 24 bhp), while peak torque is 25.6 Nm. This engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission, and to take things to the next level, it also comes with an oil-cooling system and a slipper clutch. Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Dual Channel ABS are two measures Honda has taken to try to give CB300F riders a safety net.

When slippage is detected, Honda’s unique technology, known as HSTC, helps adjust the engine torque. Doesn’t that sound a lot like Traction Control? It’s true, but it has a fancy name Not only that. Honda claims that the CB300F also uses 10 patented technologies. Nice, huh? Honda has made sure that the CB300F is neither overlooked or rendered boring in terms of features.

Therefore, Honda provides smartphone connectivity in addition to a completely digital instrument console with five brightness settings. Honda’s Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS) has not yet been given specific functional details. It has front USD forks, rear mono-shock suspension, all-around LED lighting, and a big 150-section tyre in the back for maximum traction and enormous presence.

    Price & Competition

There are two Honda CB300F models: Deluxe and Deluxe Pro. There are three colour choices for each of these variants: Sports Red, Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, and Mat Axis Grey Metallic. Prices for the Deluxe trim and Deluxe Pro trim begin at Rs. 2,25,900 and Rs., respectively (both prices ex-showroom, New Delhi). You can reserve it at a Honda Big Wing dealership if you’d like. CB300F belongs to the strange category. Its 24 horsepower and 25.6 Nm torque indicate that it is less potent than the 250 Duke, Dominar, and Gixxer 250. However, it seeks to compete on price with the Bajaj Dominar 400, which generates 35 Nm and 39.2 horsepower. Heck, for just 50,000 more rupees, one can own a Honda CB300R, BMW G 310 R, or and KTM 390 Duke too.
