Editing Sent Texts On The Apple iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and More

It shows how to edit sent messages on iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and more

Apple released the public beta of iOS 16 last month, and fans have good cause to be ecstatic. The new software version has a number of intriguing additions and upgrades.

Editing sent messages is one of these features that customers have been anticipating for a while. It is applicable to mobile devices running iOS 16 like the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, and others. Users of iPhones running iOS 16 will now be able to amend messages that have already been sent for up to 15 minutes after they have been sent. Keep in mind that the feature only functions with iMessages—not SMS messages—so both the sender and the recipient must have an iPhone for it to be useful. Additionally, participants must utilize Apple’s most recent.

The most recent iOS 16 version from Apple is also required for participants. If the recipient taps on the “Edited” text in a sent message, they will be able to see what was changed because it will have a small “edited” remark underneath it.

This new feature to edit texted texts on the iPhone is available if you have installed the public beta of iOS 16 on your device

    Step 1:

Open the iMessage on your Apple iPhone 12, 13 or other iOS compatible phones.

    Step 2:

Now, open the user’s message box and select the message you want to edit by pressing on it.

    Step 3:

Now add your edit, and then press the blue checkmark to resend.

    And it’s finished.

Please be aware that Apple no longer supports certain of the older models with new software before implementing the aforementioned instructions. Only owners of an iPhone 8 or later can use this function because the older iPhone models—the iPhone 7, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, and iPhone SE—cannot run the new iOS 16 upgrade due to hardware limitations.

Users may also use photo editing software, a lock screen that can be customized, Apple Pay Later, and much more.
