You’re in for some bad news if you rely on Amazon Drive, a competitor of iCloud and Google Drive for cloud storage. In 2023, Amazon Drive will be discontinued. The business has been sending emails to users informing them of the update well in advance of their decision to switch.
Going Away: Amazon’s Cloud Storage Service!
In order to concentrate on Amazon Photos for photo/video storage, Amazon claims that the decision to shut down Amazon Drive was made.

After December 31, 2023, you won’t be able to utilize Amazon Drive anymore. After January 31, 2023, file uploading will be discontinued.
On October 31, 2022, the Android and iOS versions of the Amazon Drive app will likewise be removed.
Other files on Amazon Drive must still be downloaded and transferred to other cloud storage, however images and videos on Amazon Drive will automatically be saved to Amazon Photos.
