Honda H’ness CB350 chassis is ideal for producing motorcycles of many types. What will be launched specifically? Our evaluation Honda invited people to “block your date” for August 8, 2022 It was marketed with the slogan “The Formidable Coming Soon” and will be available through Honda Bigwig dealerships.
Currently, Honda distributes the Henes CB350 and the CB350RS through its top-tier dealerships, and this platform is ideal for the Japanese bike manufacturer to release more models that cater to various genres. The alternatives are as follows: a 350cc cruiser from Honda?
Honda’s next natural move after the Henes and CB350RS appears to be to release a cruiser-style motorcycle. The company will be able to compete with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, which is now the most popular cruiser in the 300-400cc market, which sounds like a smart business decision.
Honda may also outfit the bike with split seats, similar to the Meteor, and an easy-to-reach handlebar for racking up the miles. The relaxed frame can enable modest modifications to the rake angle for a relaxed riding attitude. Additionally, the engine’s long stroke and torque make it the ideal choice for a 350cc cruiser.
What about a more affordable 350cc bike?
The Hunter 350, the most reasonably priced motorcycle created on the J-platform by Royal Enfield, will go on sale in the first week of August.
Honda has the ideal chance to compete with the forthcoming RE by releasing a low-cost roadster based on the Honda CB350.
If Honda chooses to follow this path, it may remove some features like traction control and a semi-digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, as well as possibly swap out the LED lighting system for a more traditional one. The outcome?
a retro, no-frills roadster with top-notch Japanese engineering. What is there to dislike?
Or, will it be an ADV?
Honda currently offers a 350cc motorcycle with a scrambler aesthetic (the Honda CB350RS), and an ADV might be the next obvious step for Honda. The long stroke layout of the 350cc engine can be adjusted to provide more bottom end power, and Honda might improve the chassis by adding long-travel suspension at both ends and spoke wheels with block pattern tyres.
We’ll have to wait and see whether Honda chooses to take this route for its future bike, but it does sound like a lot of work.
However, we believe it will be something interesting, and in a few weeks, we will know for sure what it is. Stay tuned until then!
