Yamaha RX100 Will Be Launched in India

The Yamaha RX100 will not be powered by the same 2-stroke 100cc engine that powered the previous generation.

In India, regardless of age, generation, philosophy, or variety, most people are familiar with one Yamaha product. Try to figure things out. You’re mistaken if you thought of a motorcycle other than a Yamaha RX100.

RX 100 has a tremendous cult following and is still adored by many people today. It was in production from 1985 to 1996.
Yamaha India, which still distributes spare parts for this decades-old motorcycle, is keeping the flame alive. Yeah!
While some RX100 owners tamper with or remove their exhaust, making them a hazard to society, others run it on kerosene, producing an awful quantity of smoke. However, only a few of these miscreants are capable of undermining Indians’ affection for the legendary and nostalgic Yamaha RX100. That is its legacy. Yamaha is a consistent performer in the Indian two-wheeler market, and with historical models like the RX100, the company will reach new heights.

    Yamaha RX100 Launch Plans Confirmed

In an interview with Business Line, Yamaha India Chairman Eishan Chihana disclosed that the renowned RX100 brand has not yet been used on any product since Yamaha has plans for it in the future. As a result, the RX100 will return. However, there is a catch.
Yamaha cannot just reintroduce the RX100 because it is powered by a two-stroke engine that will never fulfil the strict BS6 pollution standards. Yamaha India cannot simply slap an RX100 logo on any bike and call it a day. Because the new bike must live up to the legendary status of the preceding model. It must have the perfect combination of classic design that pays homage to the old model, explosive performance that the old model was known for, and be a unique product rather than a commuting bike. This is a massive undertaking for Yamaha India. They will, however, pull-off.
