We have further information on two future Amazfit smartwatches; namely, the GTR 4 and GTS 4. These will be Amazfit’s premium alternatives, replacing the GTR 3 and GTS 3 from the previous year. The primary difference between the two watches will be in how they look on the outside, despite having essentially identical internals.
A round 1.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 466 × 466 px resolution and Always-on Display (AoD) capabilities will be included with the Amazfit GTR 4. With a side button and a crown element on the right side for tactile control, it will have an aluminum alloy case in the colors silver and black. It will be offered with nylon, silicone, or leather watch straps.
The GTS 4 features a 1.75-inch AMOLED display that is even bigger and has a 390 x 450 pixel resolution.
Additionally, it has a side crown element and an aluminium housing.
With no strap, the GTS 4 will only be 9.9mm thick and weigh 27 grammes.
It will be offered with either silicone or nylon watch straps and come in black, rose gold, or brown case colours.
Over 200 watch faces, including 30 animated alternatives and options that complement the main and AoD watch faces, will be available through Amazfit.
Over 150 sports modes will be tracked by GTR 4 and GTS 4 with automatic recognition, sports counselling, and workout analysis.
Additionally, dual-band GPS is available, and it supports each of the five GPSs.
Both watches will have a speaker and microphone as well as Bluetooth calling and standalone music playback capabilities.
The 4PD Bio Tracker 4.0 PPG optical sensor, which Amazfit is also incorporating, could provide more precise all-day measures of heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and stress levels.
The Zepp OS 2.0 interface will take care of the software aspect. Additionally, some regions will offer built-in Amazon Alexa to users. Both watches will have a number of first-party Amzfit apps preloaded on them, but they will also support an expanded Mini App ecosystem that includes mini-games, apps from companies like GoPro, and Home Connect.
The Amazfit GTR 4 has a 475 Mah battery with a 12-day usual usage rating, while the GTS 4 has a 300 mAh cell with a 7-day expected battery life.
