Ather Energy announced the launch date of the new 450X on its official Twitter account. Ather has announced that the introduction of the new Gen 3 450X electric scooter will occur on July 19. The manner in which the news was made suggests that the existing version of the 450X will likely be retired. In addition, the new 450X would likely cost approximately Rs 6,000 more than the existing model.
The future version of the Ather 450X will feature a larger 3.66kW Lithium-ion battery pack in place of the current 2.6kWh battery pack.
The redesigned 450X will be offered in two configurations.

In its default configuration, the 450X features five riding modes: Warp Mode, Sport Mode, Ride Mode, Eco Mode, and the brand-new Smart Eco Mode. The second configuration, which has four riding modes but no Warp mode, appears to be a variation with a reduced battery capacity.
The second setting will likely be locked and only accessible to owners upon special request. The larger battery pack will boost both the peak power output and the range per charge. For the most aggressive Warp mode, the peak power output of the new Ather 450X will be rated at 6.4kW while the nominal power output will be 3.1kW.

Peak and average power outputs will vary according to the ride mode selected by the user. In terms of range, the larger battery pack has resulted in a maximum single-charge range of 146 kilometers for setting 1. Inexplicably, at setting 2, the range lowers to 108 kilometers per charge. Both of these statistics are ARAI-rated; thus, the actual range will likely be different.
