    Vivo new mobile phones launching in 2022

    Vivo is known for launching a bunch of new mobile phones in a year and 2022 is going to be no different. These upcoming Vivo mobile phones are said to be across categories, including mid-range, flagship, and affordable. Among the notables are the Vivo X80 Pro+, Vivo V25 series, iQOO 9T, and more. Below is the list of all the Vivo new mobile phones that have been doing the rounds of the rumor mill so far and are likely to launch in India or globally in the next two-to-three months

    iQOO 9T

    The iQOO 9T is in the race to be India’s first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phone. The handset is slated to launch in India in July. The phone is also tipped to sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to come in two RAM and storage variants: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB, and 120W fast charging solution. Sources have revealed it would come in a Black colour option. 

    Vivo V25 series

    Vivo is expected to refresh its V-series lineup in India, with the launch of Vivo V25 series, in August. The series is said to include as many as four variants. While there is no word on the fourth variant, the other three are said to include Vivo V25e, V25, and Vivo V25 Pro. In terms of specifications, the Vivo V25 Pro will reportedly pack MediaTek Immensity 8100 SoC under the hood paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The handset is likely to feature a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. In optics, the Vivo V25 Pro is expected to sport a 50MP triple-camera setup at the back, while on the front, it may pack a 32MP camera. The entire setup could be driven by a 4,500mAh battery with an 80W fast charging solution.

    The regular Vivo V25, in contrast, is said to feature a MediaTek Immensity 1200 SoC and a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ screen resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. That’s all the information we can divulge at the moment.

    Vivo X80 Lite and X80 Pro+

    Vivo X80 series is rumored to have two new variants: namely Vivo X80 Lite and Vivo X80 Pro+. The handsets are tipped to launch sometime in October. The X80 Pro+ will be positioned above the recently launched Vivo X80 and X80 Pro smartphones. The handset would draw power from the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset under the hood, while the Vivo X80 Lite could be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 or MediaTek Immensity 8100 Soc As for the cameras, the Vivo X80 Pro+ is speculated to come with a Zeiss lens and OIS support. 

    iQOO 10

    iQOO 10

    iQOO 10 is another iQOO smartphone, which is expected to launch in July. The vendor is expected to unveil the handset in China. Rumors are rife that the handset will flaunt a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ display whose OLED panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and DC dimming. At its core may lie either Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or MediaTek Immensity 9000+ flagship processor paired with 12GB RAM. The phone will allegedly employ a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP primary sensor. While we don’t know the phone’s battery capacity yet, it is all but confirmed to come with 120W fast charging tech.

    Vivo 2188A

    This is a mysterious device. Nobody knows its launch name yet. That said, the handset has popped up on National Quality Certification and 3C certification websites, with model number V2188A, revealing key specifications. Per the listing, the handset will sport a 6.58-inch display, 5,880mAh battery, 44W fast charging, and dual SIM connectivity. Additionally, the Vivo 2188A will be 5G-enabled and run Android 12 out of the box. Like every other smartphone, it has GPS and Bluetooth support.
