Gmail for the Web is receiving Material you and looks fantastic.

Gmail -Google has announced the addition of the Material You design, which it first introduced earlier this year with a layout update.
Google has made the new Material You design’s images available to users.

We shall see the vivid blue colors in this new design, coupled with a round, rectangular composition button for a new email.

What modifications you will receive for the materials you create

The white background of Gmail has been replaced with a light blue motif and a few more subtle tones in the most recent Material You design.
The left navigation menu is now darker than it was, as seen in the attached image.

According to Google, certain users will have the Material You design enabled by default; however, this setting can be changed at a later time.

The most recent update expanded the top search box while removing the conversation status indicator.
The new Material You design does away with the left bar as well, replacing it with a list of labels and folders.

It appears that we will need to wait till Google brings Material You design to its iPad and iPhone apps. Regarding the platforms that are offered, Workspace individual users as well as personal Google accounts will be able to access the Material You design.

Other platforms include G Suite Basic, Enterprise Essentials, Education Fundamentals, Workspace Business Starter, and Business Plus.

Google changed the desktop version’s structure earlier this year to make it easier for users to combine Meet, Chat, and spaces in an one location. The goal of the update was to enhance user experience by making it simple for users to transition between each app on the same page. The most recent upgrade simplified things for the consumers.
Let’s see how the new Material You design is received by users.
